Kochi, February 2: Vyapar 2017 got off to a flying start with approximately 2,000 buyer-seller meetings on the inaugural day.
The three-day Small and Micro Enterprise (SME) sector event with 200 selected sellers, which is taking place at Kochi Bolgatty Palace was attended by 400 buyers, of which 70 are international businesses. The B2B meetings will continue from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, and from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday.
The meetings between buyers and sellers started in the afternoon after the inaugural programme, attended by Minister for Industries, Sports and Youth Affairs Shri A C Moideen, and other dignitaries.
Vyapar 2017, organised by the State government’s Department of Industries & Commerce and partnered by FICCI, aims to boost the state’s vibrant SMEs through national and international deals and technology partnerships.
