The Spices Board is organizing a Hindi cryptic crossword contest for high school students in all non-Hindi speaking states, including Kerala.
Registrations are now open for the Kerala regional level competitions which will be held between 11.00 and 11.30 am on January 29. Students of standard VIII to X from schools following all curriculums, including state, CBSE and ICSE, can participate in the contest.
Each school can nominate a team consisting of two members for the contest and submit the nomination with details of the participating members (name, standard, name and address of the school, and contact person with phone/fax, e-mail ID).
The mother tongue of the participants should not be Hindi or its dialects; and this should be endorsed by the school authority in the nomination form itself.
The last date of receipt of nomination is January 20, 2016. The nomination can be sent either as a hard copy to 'The Asst. Director(OL), SpicesBoard, Sugandha Bhavan, Palarivattom PO, P.B.NO.2277, Kochi-682025' or emailed to email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org.
The participants should report to Spices Board HO, NH By-Pass, Near Ernakulam Medical Centre Hospital, Kochi-25, Ph: 0484-2333610-616, on January 29 at 10.00 am.
The first and second prize winners of the regional level competitions will be eligible to participate in the second round of completion held at the national level. The winners of the regional level competitions will receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 (first prize) and Rs 5,000 (second prize).
