IFFK at 20: Delegate pass from today, Government ID card needed


Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 29: Registered delegates can collect their International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) delegate pass from the delegate cells at Tagore theatre from today (Monday, Nov 30).

Honourable Minister for Forest, Transport, Sports, Environment and Cinema Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the opening of the delegate cell at 10.30 am. The first delegate pass will be issued to CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Shri M.A. Baby.  

Cultural Department secretary Smt. Rani George will be in attendance as will eminent filmmakers Shri Adoor Gopalakrishnan and IFFK 2015 Chairman (Advisory Committee) Shri Shaji N. Karun. A number of luminaries from the cultural sphere will be present as well, said Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (KSCA) secretary S. Rajendran Nair.

“There will be 15 counters from where delegate passes and festival kits can be collected after quoting the registration number and furnishing government-issued identity cards like driver’s licenses, voter IDs, Aadhaar cards, passports, PAN cards etc,” Nair added.

“Student delegates can use the official identity cards issued by their respective educational institutions.”

Festival kits and delegate passes will be available till Thursday, December 10 – one day before the curtain falls on Kerala’s premier film festival. IFFK 2015 begins Friday, December 4.
