Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 9: Small & medium enterprises (SMEs) planning to exhibit their products and technologies at the Kerala Business-to-Business Meet 2016 have one more week to register for the mega event to be held in Kochi.
The registration to the event, which will give SMEs direct networking opportunities with national and international buyers, started over a month ago at District Industries Centres (DIC) across the state. The last date for registration is October 15. Details can be obtained from the respective DIC general managers.
The 2016 February 4-6 meet, which is being organised by the State Government Department of Industries & Commerce, will focus on seven key sectors in the state: food-processing; handlooms, textiles and garments; rubber; wood-based industries; Ayurveda, health and cosmetics; engineering, electrical & electronics and handicrafts.
“We aim to select 200 potential SMEs for the event,” said Industries Director Shri P M Francis. “The response from the food processing sector from across the state has been particularly enthusiastic.”
The CIAL Trade Fair & Exhibition Centre in Nedumbassery will house the exhibition, where SMEs will showcase their products and service to buyers, traders and buying & export houses.
