Classes, workshops to be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct12: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has invited applications for the Digital Fabrication Course to be conducted at the Fab labs at Technopark here and the Kerala Technology Innovation Zone (KITZ) in Kochi, set up in association with US-based MIT Fab Foundation.
The course, which comprises classes and workshops to be held in Technopark and KITZ at Kinfra Hi-tech Park, Kalamassery, will commence on October 27.
The programme will cover the basics of Digital Fabrication with the help of state-of-the-art equipment like 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC router and 3D plotters, which can be used for rapid prototyping.
The Fab Lab Kerala provides a unique opportunity for students and workers to learn digital fabrication through a six-day intense training programme, which teaches basics of the subject. The classes are scheduled on Saturdays, spread over six weeks.
