Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 13: A five-day international training programme on ‘Procurement Management in the Health Sector’, jointly organised by the HLL Management Academy (HMA) and the World Bank, began at the Poorva Estuary Island in Kovalam here today.
Former Union Secretary Dr Poornalingam IAS inaugurated the five-day workshop which is attended by around 25 participants from India and abroad. HMA, the learning division of HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), is providing training across various fields of management and healthcare procurement to the workshop attendees who will also receive training on the World Bank's new procurement framework.
Ms Anitha Thampi, HMA CEO, and Dr Mohan Das N. K., the Director of Angloscape, the Trivandrum-based Indo-British corporate training group, also participated in the inaugural function. The training programme concludes on November 17.
