Bhopal, May 22: HLL Infra Tech Services Ltd ( HITES), a subsidiary of HLL Lifecare Ltd (HLL), has been awarded an over Rs 50-crore project by the Health Ministry of Madhya Pradesh government to provide facility management services at six medical colleges across the state.
HITES will execute the project at the state-run medical colleges in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Rewa and Sagar.
The scope of work includes Operation & Maintenance of hospital utilities, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for equipments, housekeeping and sanitation, security services and laundry services.
The annual contract is slated to commence in June this year.
HLL Chairman and Managing Director Shri R P Khandelwal said HITES, since its inception in 2014, has emerged as a successful brand in the healthcare construction and management sector, a fact that has helped it become the Executing Agency of the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry and several state governments.

“The Madhya Pradesh government has planned to open eight more medical colleges in the state in 2018, and we are hopeful of doing the facility management services in those hospitals also,” he added.
The Facility Management Division of HITES has been successfully doing facility management works at institutions like Medical College, Trivandrum; JIPMER, Pondicherry; Government Medical College, Kollam; District hospitals in Delhi; and AIIMS at Delhi and Patna.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has tasked it with the upgradation of 12 government medical college institutions under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.
